I’m a WordPress developer, project manager, instructor and speaker specialising in helping others acheive awesomeness.
I come armed with a big old smile and a swiss-army knife of skills that broadly divide into three categories:
Coding and WordPress development
Change: projects and processes
Talking and training
With a BSc in Computer Science and being a people person, I make it easy for businesses to get the technical solutions they need. These are the things I find myself most commonly doing to help businesses do awesome things:
- WordPress development
- Front end development for websites – HTML / CSS / SASS / JQuery / AngularJS
- Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
- Spreadsheet magic inc Excel Macro development in VBA
I’m really good at helping businesses successfully change the way they work. Change done well will support your business’s growth and make everyone feel happy. Change done badly can put your business down the pan by driving employees and customers away. Change comes in all sizes, and I’ve got buckets of experience in all of it.
- Project manager – agile and PRINCE2
- Change manager, programmes and portfolios
- Continuous and process improvement
- Coaching and mentoring
- Lead implementer for ISO 27001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001
You can see examples of the change I have led on my LinkedIn profile.
I love sharing my knowledge and am regularly seen around Bristol giving talks, presentations and teaching. I tend to talk about my other two skill-sets: coding and project management. I also co-organise the Bristol WordPress group, which is a fantastic free community sharing knowledge amongst all experience levels.
My skills are particularly useful for small or medium sized businesses (SMEs) and solo traders, where having one person that knows lots of stuff keeps your overheads small.
Is she for real?
